The theater was built at the behest of the municipal administration following the progressive deterioration of the main theater of the time, the “Teatro Comunitativo”. The Teatro Alighieri is home to the prose season, directed and organized by Ravenna Teatro.
The Teatro Socjale in Piangipane is a very important cultural reference point, thanks to the skilful mix of excellent films, exquisite cappelletti from Romagna and auteur music.
