The Neonian Baptistery, also known as the Orthodox Baptistery, is a baptistery in Ravenna dating back to the 5th century and takes its name from Bishop Neon who had its construction continued after his predecessor Orso.
The theater was built at the behest of the municipal administration following the progressive deterioration of the main theater of the time, the “Teatro Comunitativo”. The Teatro Alighieri is home to the prose season, directed and organized by Ravenna Teatro.
